For the once in a while treat, a homemade sorbet using raw honey and a touch of vodka for texture is a perfectly Paleo option. Vary the fruit based on the season and where you live to create your own favorite rendition.
Ingredients
- 24 ounces fruit (try mango or cherry)
- 3 tablespoons raw honey
- ½ teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vodka
Instructions
- Puree fruit
- Add honey, lemon juice and vodka
- Whisk to combine
- Cover tightly and chill in the refrigerator for 4 - 6 hours
- Process in ice cream maker
