Liver is the single most nutrient dense, healthiest organ meat we can eat, yet for many, the thought (or taste) of it can be a turn off. Why not switch to a preparation that's not only easy to make but deliciously easy to eat?
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons duck fat or raw butter
- 1 pound pasture raised chicken liver
- 8 oz grass fed and finished bone broth
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Place duck fat in cast iron skillet
- Arrange liver in single layer
- Cook until pink inside, about 15 minutes, turning once halfway through
- Remove from oven
- Place in blender with bone broth (adjust quantity based on desired thickness)
- Whiz to combine
- Pour into small mason jars
- Chill at least 2 hours prior to serving
