Chris and I love the Avalon 50 in Catalina Island, which will be held in 2011 on Sat., Jan 15th. I raced this course in 2008.
I was a bit daunted initially, but, trusting my husband implicitly, I decided to go ahead and give it a go.
We popped into the race and both fared really well! He's always at the top, or not far, and I was happy with my 4th woman overall, given the facts that it was an off season fun run and my first 50.
