The Cost Of Paleo- Not Just For The Holidays!

A client commented to me today that he was going to order a few more copies of The Cookbook for his friends and family.   He stated something that I felt was worth sharing (hope you don't mind me quoting you, Jef! : )

"I'll save a ton in health care in the future if I can get my family on board eating Paleo now".

Couldn't have put it more succinctly myself.

Yes, the state of the world now is, in fact, such that it's far more economical for people on a tight budget to go to the drive thriu than to take a trip to Whole Foods.

Just remember, not just during the holidays; it doesn't have to be an all or nothing approach.

Buy organic if you can, but if you can't, it doesn't mean all is lost.  Same with buying a cut of flank steak versus filet mignon.  And so on, and so on.

If you're in a position where you can afford Whole Foods every week, and everything organic and free range, this is a great time of year to spread the bounty by helping those in your community who can't.   Offer to cook a Paleo meal at your community center.  Or for the church's pot luck dinner.

You get the idea- 'tis the season!
