Can you beat a recipe with less than three ingredients and five steps? Let's face it, the winning formula is local, fresh, in season veggies + your choice of a variety of mindfully sourced fats (keep it varied to avoid redundancy to the palate as well as to the body) = healthy / tasty / divine. Let's cut through all the nonsense and eat what grows in our own backyards, what we find at the farmer's markets and what we can get right where we are. Easy peasy!
Ingredients
- 1 bunch asparagus
- 2 tablespoons duck fat or coconut oil
- Himalayan Salt, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450
- Rinse asparagus
- Toss asparagus with fat
- Roast in glass or ceramic pan 10 minutes, flipping once or twice
- Remove from oven and sprinkle with salt
