Being the die-hard kale lover that I am, I simply cannot get enough of the stuff! Here's a great way to get it in whether you're on the go...or trying to sneak it in to your kids meal!
Ingredients
- 1 cup frozen organic berries
- 6 big leaves fresh organic kale, washed
- ½ medium organic avocado
- 2 soft-boiled six-minute free-range eggs (or fresh, raw, local... if you're comfortable)
- 8 ounces water or chilled, brewed herbal tea
- Turmeric, optional, to taste
- Cinnamon, optional, to taste
- Orange wedge, for garnish
Instructions
- Whiz together in a blender until well combined
- Add ice if you prefer a more frothy consistency
- Add turmeric (natural anti inflammatory) and cinnamon if you wish
- Garnish with orange wedge
