Vary the heat by the amount of Jalapeno you add and you choose whether to go mild or picante! Lovely with fish, chicken or steak!
Ingredients
- 1.5 # tomatillos, husks removed
- ½ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 4 scallions, roots removed, washed and chopped
- 1 small lime, juiced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 clove fresh garlic
- 1 - 2 jalapenos, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Combine all in mini prep food processor
- Whiz to combine
- Pour into bowl
- Tightly cover with plastic
- Let chill at least an hour before serving.
- Can also be used as a marinade for your favorite proteins.
