Who needs to a dusting of white flour for a crisp finish when pan searing fish when you've got...nuts? This recipe works well with halibut, sea bass and mahi mahi.
Ingredients
- 2 6 ounce white fish fillets
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- Freshly ground pepper, to taste
- Garlic Powder, to taste
- 1 tablespoon almond flour (be sure to use JUST almond flour with no additives)
Instructions
- Pat fillets dry with paper towel
- Heat oil in skillet over medium high
- Season fillets with pepper and garlic
- Dust evenly with almond flour
- Sear 6 - 8 minutes, flipping over halfway, making sure internal temp = 160F.
- Serve on a bed of your favorite greens.
