Roasted Marrow....decadent and oh so Paleo! Who needs bread to spoon it onto?Enjoy it right out of the bone with a spoon!
Ingredients
- 2 grass fed beef or bison shanks, split vertically (ask your butcher for help)
- Extra virgin olive oil, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450F
- Place split bones, marrow side up, in glass or ceramic baking dish
- Roast for roughly twenty minutes
- Remove from oven and let cool five minutes
- Drizzle with olive oil, to taste
- Sprinkle with pepper, to taste
