Today’s healthy holiday tip
Preparing a turkey but not interested in a pile of leftover meat from the leftovers? Tired of turkey soup?
Here’s an idea: roast a bone-in turkey breast! I’ve done that in lieu of a whole bird the last several years and it’s gone over quite well.
I’ll typically do a two-day brine, the roast it on Christmas day just in time for our sit-down dinner.
Moist, tasty and delish with significantly less fat than in some of the other cuts of turkey you’d have leftover with a whole bird.
Enjoy!
